Homecoming: Camerata Bulgarica and Svetlina Stoyanova

On 16 September 2026, everything we have been building steps into the light — our first flagship gala, on a Sofia stage.

Homecoming — Gala Concert with Svetlina Stoyanova and Camerata Bulgarica, Bulgaria Hall, 16 September 2026

We are delighted to announce Homecoming — Camerata Bulgarica’s first major public production in Bulgaria, and the public unveiling of everything the ensemble has become. It takes place on 16 September 2026 at 19:00, at the Bulgaria Concert Hall in Sofia.

At the centre of the evening stands Bulgarian mezzo-soprano Svetlina Stoyanova — one of the leading lyric mezzos of her generation — returning to Sofia after her debut at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden, as Cherubino in Mozart’s Le Nozze di Figaro. Her presence embodies something at the heart of what we do: that artistic excellence belongs naturally on the international stage, and just as naturally at home.

“What should people remember when they leave the room?”

One evening, designed as a single story

Homecoming is not a sequence of separate pieces. It is a programme composed as one emotional trajectory — from ceremonial brilliance, into intimacy, and on to theatrical dialogue. Classical masterpieces meet newly commissioned arrangements; familiar repertoire is heard from unexpected angles. The audience is invited not simply to listen to individual works, but to experience an evening that unfolds.

Be in the room where it begins

Full programme details and ticketing will be announced in the weeks ahead. Until then, you can see the concert page and reserve by email, and follow us on YouTube or through the newsletter to be first to hear when seats are released.

This is more than a performance. It is the beginning of a long-term artistic platform — and we would love for you to be there at the very first note.
