Friends of Camerata

Great music survives because someone believed in it.

Friends of Camerata stand behind everything we make — the new works, the young musicians, the open doors. This is where you join them.

The concert is only the beginning

01New Bulgarian works

Your support commissions original works and bespoke arrangements — music that would not otherwise exist, written here and carried far beyond Bulgaria’s borders.

02The next generation

Every production brings masters and rising talent onto one stage. Friends make that mentorship possible, giving young musicians a place beside the players they learn from.

03Within everyone’s reach

World-class chamber music should never be a luxury. Your gift keeps tickets accessible, so a great performance belongs to everyone in the room.

Choose your level

Four ways to belong.

Monthly Friends sustain the work between productions; one-time gifts are just as welcome. Every level is acknowledged, and every gift goes toward the music.

While online giving is being set up, gifts are arranged personally by email — each button opens a message to us, and we take care of the rest.

Where your gift goes

Musicians on stage

Fees for the players themselves — principal musicians from leading Bulgarian orchestras and the rising talent performing beside them.

New music

Commissions and original arrangements: the new Bulgarian works that give each production its own voice.

The production

Lighting, staging, film and recording — the craft that turns a concert into an experience, and one performance into many conversations.

Open doors

Accessible ticket prices, so cost never decides who gets to be in the room.

For those who wish to do more

A major gift — personal, corporate or institutional — can carry a commissioned work, a recording or an entire production. If your company or institution shares our belief that extraordinary music deserves extraordinary context, let’s begin the conversation.

Questions, answered

How is my gift used?

Every gift goes toward the work itself: fees for the musicians on stage, commissions of new Bulgarian works and arrangements, the production that surrounds each concert — lighting, film, recording — and ticket prices that keep the music within everyone’s reach.

What is the difference between monthly and one-time giving?

Monthly giving sustains the work between productions and lets us plan whole seasons with confidence, which is why its levels are lower. A one-time gift is just as welcome — the frequency toggle in the giving section shows the one-time amount for each level. Both are acknowledged in the same way.

How do I change or cancel my support?

By email, for now. Write to contact@camerata-bulgarica.com and we will change your level, pause your giving or cancel it right away — no questions asked.

Can my company or institution become a partner?

Yes. Cultural partnership is one of our founding principles: we work with corporations, embassies, universities, festivals and civic organisations on productions, commissions and entire seasons. Write to contact@camerata-bulgarica.com and tell us what story you would like to help tell.

Is my gift tax-deductible?

That depends on where you pay tax. We will gladly provide documentation of your gift — please consult your tax adviser about how it applies in your situation.
