We don’t perform at your event. We design it.
Bespoke musical productions for conferences, diplomatic events, corporate gatherings, educational initiatives and civic celebrations — from intimate gatherings to grand galas.
Live music for conferences, forums and galas
Camerata Bulgarica is a Sofia-based cultural production company that designs and performs bespoke classical and chamber-music experiences for conferences, forums, galas and institutional events across Europe. We shape the programme around your occasion, assemble principal players for the project, and can deliver the full production — including professional recording and film.
Extraordinary music deserves extraordinary context.
We are not an act you add to a running order. Camerata Bulgarica designs complete musical narratives for institutions and hosts — building the music into the architecture of your event, so it welcomes, reflects, celebrates and shapes what people remember.
Every production begins with the question we ask of our own flagships: what should people remember when they leave the room? From that memory we work backwards — repertoire, ensemble, staging, pacing — until the evening is one designed experience.
Performing across Europe
Based in Sofia and drawing on distinguished European freelancers alongside principals from leading Bulgarian orchestras, we design productions that travel. Our way of working was developed through international productions between 2023 and 2026; travel and logistics are planned as part of the design.
What you are commissioning
01Curated excellence
The ensemble is assembled for your production, never off a roster: principal players from leading Bulgarian orchestras, joined by distinguished European freelancers, chosen for the purpose at hand.
02Bespoke musical narratives
Your programme is designed for one night, one room, one audience — with original arrangements and new commissions wherever the story calls for them. Nothing is pulled from a standard set.
03Theatrical thinking
Lighting, movement, architecture, even silence are part of the score. We stage the music to serve your occasion, so the performance feels made for the room it happens in — because it is.
04Contemporary production
Professional audio, multi-camera film and photography can be part of the design — turning your event into a lasting asset. One performance becomes many conversations.
05Cultural partnership
We work with concert halls, festivals, universities, conferences, embassies, corporations and civic organisations. Every collaboration starts with the same question: what story are we helping to tell?
How it works
01Inquire
Write to us with the occasion, the date and the setting — even if half of it is still undecided. We reply personally, with questions rather than a brochure.
02Programme design
We design the musical narrative around your event: repertoire, original arrangements, ensemble, staging and pacing — presented for your approval before anything is rehearsed.
03Performance & production
On the day, the music arrives fully produced. Where wanted, it is also professionally recorded and filmed — so one performance keeps working long after the applause.
Four editions, one architecture.
From 2023 to 2026, Camerata Bulgarica conceived and produced the musical dimension of four successive editions of the ARC conference — an international gathering of leading thinkers, entrepreneurs, artists, educators and public leaders.
The music was part of the architecture of the event itself — it welcomed, it reflected, it celebrated, it created stillness, it shaped memory.

Before you ask
How far in advance should we get in touch?
As early as you can. A bespoke production is designed, not booked from a shelf, and the best work begins months before the first note. That said, every occasion has its own timeline — write to us and we will tell you honestly what is possible in yours.
What determines the programme?
Your occasion. We start from one question — what should people remember when they leave the room? — and design backwards from that memory: repertoire, original arrangements, staging and pacing shaped to your venue, your guests and the story you are telling.
How large is the ensemble?
As large as the occasion asks. Every ensemble is assembled per project — from a handful of players for an intimate gathering to a full chamber formation for a gala — drawing on principal players from leading Bulgarian orchestras and distinguished European freelancers.
Can you perform at a conference or corporate event?
Yes. Designing music for institutional occasions is central to what we do: from 2023 to 2026 Camerata Bulgarica conceived and produced the musical dimension of four successive editions of the ARC conference, an international gathering of leading thinkers and public leaders. We design bespoke programmes for conferences, forums and summits, built into the architecture of the day itself.
What kinds of events do you produce music for?
Conferences, forums and summits; galas and ceremonies; diplomatic and civic occasions; university and cultural events; and private celebrations. We work with concert halls, festivals, universities, conferences, embassies, corporations and civic organisations — every collaboration begins with the same question: what story are we helping to tell?
Do you perform outside Bulgaria or across Europe?
Yes. Camerata Bulgarica is based in Sofia and works across Europe, assembling principal players from leading Bulgarian orchestras alongside distinguished European freelancers. Our way of working was developed through international productions between 2023 and 2026, and travel is arranged as part of the production design — tell us where, and we will plan from there.
